Dual Enrollment Toolkit

May 2016

The Dual Enrollment Toolkit supports secondary and community college partners in providing historically underrepresented high school students with opportunities to earn college credits at California Community Colleges (CCC) while they complete the requirements for their high school diplomas. The toolkit aims to provide specific, concrete guidance and evidence to interested college administrators, faculty, and staff who are planning to build partnerships with K12 districts to support dual enrollment efforts on their campuses and/or within their districts. Specifically, it includes definitions and models; tools for marketing, communications, and messaging; models for agreements; examples of registration and enrollment materials; and, policies, regulations, and legislation. Input from an advisory committee and interviews with and surveys of other experts and stakeholders have helped guide the project team’s development of this interactive resource. Additional resources include a robust Frequently Asked Questions resource as well as a webinar that offers a substantive overview of the toolkit.
