Community College Success Measure Survey (CCSM)
Developed by the Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) at San Diego State University, this survey is an equity-centered institutional needs assessment used by community colleges across the United States to inform institutional practices designed to close equity gaps and improve student success for disproportionately impacted students in community colleges.
The assessment focuses on measuring factors that have been found to have a direct impact on students' experiences and success:
- Sense of belonging
- Intrusive institutional support
- Help-seeking
- Faculty and staff validation
- Efficacy of equity-centered student services
Cost for Survey Services
The cost of our fee-for-service surveys is determined by the college/district’s annual Full-Time Equivalent Student (FTES) count. The cost is for a single survey and is based on a college’s total credit and noncredit FTES to help ensure equitable pricing across institutions. For multi-college districts interested in administering surveys across multiple colleges, please email us at research@rpgroup.org.
