Long Beach City College’s (LBCC) Trade Adjustment Act Training Program

Timeline
2014-2017

Overview

The RP Group is evaluating Long Beach City College’s (LBCC) Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) program that offers two training tracks, which are both short-term and industry-guided. One of the tracks, Pre-Apprenticeship Construction, prepares participants for construction jobs with an emphasis on union apprenticeships. The other track provides modular training units to prepare participants for entry or advancement in alternative fuels or preventative maintenance. Both training tracks target expanding industry sectors and are offered through LBCC’s noncredit division in collaboration with external partners.
