Terrence Willett

Terrence Willett is the founding researcher for the Multiple Measures Assessment Project (MMAP). He has over 24 years of experience in program planning and evaluation, large-scale relational database integration and analyses, creation of predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques, data dashboard design and implementation, and geographic information systems (GIS) analyses.
Terrence is currently the Dean of Research, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. He also has experience as a field biology instructor and as a math and science tutor for the general student population, as well as for the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program and Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS). He has published papers and chapters and presented on topics including using high school data in college placement, evaluating acceleration curricula in English and math, student engagement and support service effectiveness, predicting student persistence, and the impacts of logging on redwood forest spider communities.
Terrence earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his Master of Science in environmental studies from San Jose State University. He also studied science and music at Cabrillo College.
