Dr. Cathy Hasson
|
Dr. Cathy Hasson has served as the Co-Lead for the Strategic Enrollment Management project (SEM Project) and has been involved in every aspect of the design, development, and delivery of the SEM Project resources, tools, and professional development offerings (the SEM Program). For nearly 25 years, Cathy served as Director and Dean of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment for several institutions in California, including San Diego Community College District, Skyline College, Mission College, and Saddleback College.
For over 15 years, Cathy has also served as a planning consultant, assisting numerous colleges and districts with their education master plans, strategic plans, and strategic enrollment management plans. Cathy also teaches online courses for the Institutional Research and Planning certificate program at the University of California, San Diego. Before working in institutional research and planning, Cathy taught English and English-as-a–second language for sixteen years at various colleges in Southern California. She also served as the lead education research analyst for two private market research firms and as an assessment analyst for an educational assessment firm. Cathy continues to stay involved in statewide and national research and planning efforts, e.g., the Data Unlocked initiative and the BRIC initiative in California;; the Student Success by The Numbers initiative in Dallas, Texas. Cathy holds an EdD in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University and a Master of Science in education from California State University, Fullerton.
