Welcome to the fall 2024 Leadershifting: Virtual Professional Development Series! In today's dynamic educational environment, leading from the middle isn't just helpful—it's essential. We know community colleges face unique challenges that require innovative leadership from every level. We also know that many mid-level professionals feel underprepared to effectively influence and lead change.

Are you ready to enhance your leadership skills and drive meaningful change at your institution? Imagine being the catalyst that leads from the middle, contributing to real progress and effective teamwork.

Our workshop series is grounded in research on effective leadership and the Leading from the Middle (LFM) curriculum. It draws insights from LFM alumni who are actively engaged in initiatives related to social and racial justice and student success at their institutions.

Each workshop is designed to offer practical, actionable leadership training. Our goal is to equip community college professionals with essential leadership skills and knowledge that enable them to make a significant impact, from clarifying their values to navigating resistance.

Details

The workshops are held weekly on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, from October 15 to November 19. They are designed as interactive learning experiences that encourage active participation.
