Elisa Rassen has been a consultant to the RP Group for over 15 years and currently works as the Lead Editor for the organization’s Research and Evaluation team. In this role, Ms. Rassen partners with Project Directors to ensure that the RP Group’s findings are maximally meaningful and useful to a wide range of higher education stakeholders. During her tenure at the RP Group as both a writer and editor, Ms. Rassen has worked on projects including the Education Planning Initiative Evaluation, Completion by Design, the Bay Area Workforce Funding Collaborative Evaluation, and more.
Ms. Rassen’s work with community colleges began at City College of San Francisco, where she spent four years in the institution’s Office of Institutional Advancement. Alongside her work with the RP Group, Ms. Rassen has served numerous clients in the education community with a focus on fund development and strategic communications. Past and current clients include foundations, public agencies, and community-based organizations, such as the Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Foundation, the San Francisco Unified School District, the Contra Costa and Peralta Community College Districts, and the United Way of the Bay Area.
Ms. Rassen has a BA in romance languages and literature from Harvard University and an MA in Education Policy from Stanford University.
