 Year-long Academies

The Statewide LFM Academy (open to all California Community Colleges) will consist of three convenings. These will take place at the Kellogg West Conference Center in Pomona, California on the following dates:

March 14-16, 2019

June 6-8, 2019

October. 24-26, 2019

The Central Valley LFM Academy (only for colleges in the Central Valley) will consist of three convenings. These will take place at the Kellogg West Conference Center in Pomona, California on the following dates:

February 7-9, 2019

May 30-June 1, 2019

October 3-5, 2019

Cost and Application Process

The cost of each year-long Academy is $1,000 per person. This includes registration, coaching, lodging, and meals during the convenings at Kellogg West. The California Community College Chancellor’s Office is providing generous funding to the RP Group and Leading from the Middle to subsidize costs.  

  • To participate, each college must identify a team of up to five people to participate in one of the two year-long LFM Academies. Teams should have at least one faculty member or student services professional, administrator, and researcher and will need to attend all three Statewide or Central Valley two, 1/2-day face-to-face meetings and work with an LFM coach that will support each participating team.

  • Complete and submit an application for either the Statewide or the Central Valley LFM academies, by clicking on the orange button, below.

  • Application deadline is November 1, 2018. (Each academy will comprise of no more than 12 colleges so space is limited!)

 Regional Drive-In LFM Academy

The Inland Empire Regional Drive-in LFM Academy (for Inland Empire colleges only) will consist of two, two-day convenings. These will take place at Chaffey College’s Chino Center in Chino, California on the following dates:

February 21-22, 2019

April 18-19, 2019

Cost and Application Process

The cost of the Regional Drive-in LFM Academy is $300 per person. This includes registration, coaching, and lunch during the convenings. The California Community College Chancellor’s Office is providing generous funding to the RP Group and Leading from the Middle to subsidize costs.

Teams should have at least one faculty member or student services professional, administrator, and researcher and will need to attend both the February and April two two-day, face-to-face meetings and work with an LFM coach.

  • Application deadline is November 15, 2018. (This academy will be comprised of no more than 12 colleges, so space is limited!)
