Roberto Gonzalez

Dr. Roberto Gonzalez is currently the Vice President of Student Services at West Los Angeles College. He has worked in higher education for about 25 years in a variety of institutions of higher education planning, implementing, and directing a variety of academic and student services programs. He has held a variety of positions within the California Community College system including as a classified educator, adjunct faculty and educational administrator. Roberto is a proud community college graduate. He went on to transfer to the University of California at Los Angeles where he earned a bachelor's degree in History. He continued his studies and earned a master's degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach and went on to earn a doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California. Dr. Gonzalez believes in the transformative power of education and has devoted his career to helping community college students reach their academic and career goals.
