Olivia Loy has more than 10 years of proven excellence in vision, strategy, and execution in the areas of internal and external communications, including content, public relations, and marketing, with a focus on digital content creation (blogging, social media, email marketing, web content), SEO, and community management.
Her work has been featured in industry publications, and she has been responsible for greatly increasing engagement, revenue, and web analytics for various organizations, including Yelp, where, as Sacramento’s first Community Manager, she took the company from a Stage 1 to a Stage 2 level market, earned the most significant local public relations “win” for the company to date at the time, and played an integral role in implementing Yelp Deals.
Her public relations work has included feature spots in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Wine Enthusiast, the Sacramento Bee, and many more regional and national publications.
She holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley and is committed to the RP Group’s mission, as her own educational path began in a California Community College.
