Involve me, and I’ll Understand: Ideas for Designing Engaging Conference Sessions

Participatory learning is taking the place of passive learning, both in our colleges and at our conferences. More conference attendees desire an immersive, experiential learning and a greater number of conference presenters are being more creative in designing interactive and engaging sessions. Fewer PowerPoint-driven lectures with 15-minute Q&As at the end; more interactive learning opportunities to engage with the ideas, co-wrestle with tough questions, hear the stories of other colleges and connect with colleagues.
