Kelley Karandjeff, EdM

For over 25 years, Kelley Karandjeff has worked to support educational institutions in centering students in redesign, fostering equity and achievement for each student. She is passionate about helping students share their experiences and colleges tell their stories of transformation, so more students reach their goals and thrive post-graduation.

Kelley has worked as a consultant since 2008, providing strategic communications, knowledge management, and qualitative research services to The RP Group and other intermediaries, foundations, and postsecondary systems. Areas of focus include (1) building college capacity for Guided Pathways inquiry, design, and implementation; (2) advancing student financial stability; (3) improving community college transfer policy and practice; and (4) engaging students in all aspects of college transformation and improvement. She managed all publications, dissemination, and practitioner engagement efforts for the Student Support (Re)defined and Through the Gate studies. Currently, she develops resources to help practitioners amplify students’ perspectives, and she serves as the lead editor on high-profile projects such as the Multiple Measures Assessment Project.

Kelley started her community college career at City College of San Francisco and served in both the Offices of Institutional Effectiveness and Workforce Development for more than a decade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Kenyon College, a Master of Education from Harvard University, and served as a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs.
