Beverly Chakrabarty

Contracts Administrator

Beverly Chakrabarty manages the contracts administration process for the RP Group’s projects. She comes to the RP Group with a range of experience in the social sector. During college, she worked as a peer tutor for exchange students from Japan and spent six months studying at a university and volunteering in Quito, Ecuador. After earning her MBA with a focus on Nonprofit Management, she spent a year as an Americorps VISTA volunteer in Oakland, CA, coordinating a program that assisted immigrant and refugee women entrepreneurs with learning business and English skills.

She then transitioned into the field of philanthropy, first working at Tides, where she managed grantmaking for a portfolio of individual and institutional donors and supported back-office processes for fiscally-sponsored projects. She subsequently worked at the Marin Community Foundation, one of the nation’s largest community foundations, where she coordinated grantmaking, contracts, and events for the program areas of Education and Immigration.

Ms. Chakrabarty holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She lives in the northern Bay Area with her husband and two young children.
