Join the RP Group Board!

The RP Group is now accepting applications for at-large members of the RP Group Board. Joining the RP Group Board gives you an opportunity to learn about, and be a part of, big-picture issues that are shaping the California Community College system.

The call for 2017-19 board member applications will close on Tuesday, May 9th at 11:59 pm. Election results will be announced in early July.

RP Group Board Members serve a number of roles for the organization, including:

  • providing guidance regarding the organization’s strategic direction

  • advising on research projects

  • organizing professional development activities

  • developing resources and templates related to research, planning, and assessment

  • serving on statewide committees

  • building relationships with various constituencies to encourage the use of evidence in decision-making

Term

Terms run July 2017 - June 2019 and require attending three face-to-face meetings (travel costs are reimbursed) each year, plus involvement in organizational activities.

Election

Profiles of board applicants are sent out to member institutions for voting in May and results are announced publicly in early July.
